Description

Up for auction is an original reel to reel tape titled "It Might As Well Be Swing" and features Frank Sinatra and Count Basie. THe tape was arranged by Quincy Jones. The tape is in excellent original shape. The box also is in mint condition with no cracks, no creases, no tears, no discoloring, no writting anywhere and the hinge is in perfect condition. All the corners are also in excellent condition with no splits. This tape features 10 great songs. It is on Reprise Records and is stock number FS-1012. It is a 4 Track Stereo tape and plays at 7 1/2 speed. The color is also awesome with no writting anywhere on the glossy finish(light spots are from the reflection of the light in the room and not on the tape). This tape works perfect and is in excellent shape. The early stereo reel to reel tape was found at a recent 80 year estate and was safely stored away for years. It appears to have very light play time and use from over the years. Please see my other auctions for other vintage reel to reel tapes from the same estate. Music from rock & roll, jazz, classical and so much more. All in great shape with light use from over the years. Hard to find early reel to reel tape.
