Vintage J.R. LAFLEUR & SONS Soprano Oboe Key Of C In Hard Case NEEDS WORK

Please be aware: All Items pictured are included. If items are not pictured which you feel should be, please assume they are not included. As our items are donated we are unsure if any accessories are missing from when the item was new.

Item Condition

Oboe is in average used condition with minor surface scratches, marks and other signs of previous use/aging. Pads and keys appear to be in okay condition. See pictures for reference. Comes in a hard case with a reed included for reference only, please discard upon arrival. Due to the age of the instrument, it will likely require some servicing and attention before playing.

FAQ’s–MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

HAS THIS ITEM BEEN TESTED AND TO WHAT EXTENT HAS THIS ITEM BEEN TESTED?

As all of our items are donated to us, we do not always have the facilities or resources tofully test our items. Musical instruments will be tested to the best of our ability - Where applicable these will be plugged in to test any electronics. Otherwise these will be tuned and checked for playability and cosmetic condition. Further information will be highlighted in the condition section for the listing 

WHAT CONDITION ARE THE STRINGS IN?

As all of our items are donated these instruments will not have new strings. Strings will naturally wear over time, we would always recommend replacing the strings on instruments to get the best tone and feel depending on your personal preference. 

WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF THE ITEM?

All of our items are donated to us and are therefore second hand in most cases. With this in mind, we always recommend having the item serviced prior to use as we do not have the facilities to do this in store.

Any faults are described in the listing condition and we also aim to take pictures of our items from various angles, so that our customers can inspect the cosmetic condition. 

ARE CABLES AND ACCESSORIES INCLUDED?

Please see our images for all components included - we will not usually include standard instrument cables unless specific, uncommon cables are required for operation. Any accessories such as bags and cases will be highlighted in the listing.

CAN YOU PROVIDE EXTRA IMAGES OF THE ITEM?

Once our items are listed on eBay they are placed in storage to keep them safe until auction end. This means that we are unable to take extra images if requested.

DO YOU ACCEPT BUY IT NOW PRICES?

Wedo not accept Buy It Now prices and it is BHF eBay policy to let all auctions run their course. 

CAN I VIEW BEFORE BIDDING?

Based on eBay’s ‘selling outside eBay’ policy, unfortunately we cannot allow customers to view items for sale prior to purchase.

CAN I PAY CASH?

We only accept payment via PayPal. One off payments can be made using your credit/debit card via PayPal.

DO YOU COMBINE INVOICES?

All Multiple invoices are automatically combined the following working day after auction end. Please note, we only combine items based on weight and size and it isn’t always possible to combine larger items into 1 box.

Customer Service

Please Do contact us with any questions you have relating to this item. Our dedicated customer service team operate from 9am -5pm Monday – Friday and we will respond to your query within 48 hours between these operating times.

Payment

We Ask that payment is made within 12 days of the auction ending via PayPal.

Delivery

We Will despatch items within 2 working days of receiving payment via the shipping method outlined on your invoice. 

Once Your item is marked as dispatched it can take up to 2 working days for your tracking to update on eBay.

Ifwe think your item requires additional tracking, we may upgrade the service for you.

We cannot hold items once payment is made.

We cannot send your item to an alternate address once payment is made. Any requests will result in the cancellation of the transaction.

Returns and Refunds

We accept all returns within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us for help, or open a return via the eBay returns centre if you would like to return your item.

In the rare event that an item is damaged in transit the process couldn’t be simpler. If possible, send us a photo of the item in the received condition and we will contact your to resolve the issue. Alternatively, please return the item using our freepost service and we will credit your PayPal account within 2-3 working day of receiving the returned item.

Once an item is received at our office, a refund will be processed via PayPal to the original account used, within 5 working days.
