Description
For auction is the Loretta Lynn Record Album "Navy Hoedown". This very rare vinyl record was recorded by The U.S. Navy and is identified as Series A and includes the programs NH-25 & NH-26. Evidently, in the late 1960's and early 1970's the U.S. Navy had a Radio Program for Recruitment called Navy Hoedown. Popular artists of that time would record music that was aired on the radio along with recruitment advertising. I believe this LP was aired in 1972, but my information on that is somewhat sketchy. The LP is in VG Condition, but there is no cover and I am not sure if there ever was a one as I could not find any similar albums. Note: there is a little ink scribbling on the NH-25 side.
