Available to own is an extensive and comprehensive record collection (about as comprehensive as you can do with a collection of 100 original pressings). I tried to assemble a set as diverse as possible in a quantity of 100 to represent the world of recorded Rock n' Roll on vinyl...and I believe I made a respectable effort. These LPs are from the 60s, 70s and 80s (a few from the 90s). These all play through. I have personally listened to each and every one of these records. There are occasional pops and clicks...but in the decades of my collecting vinyl, whenever a record skipped, I would discard it immediately. Accordingly, the last time each of these records played, they played through without interruption. They have the wear expected of a respectfully stored and played collection varying in age from 35-60+ years. These are not 'thrift-store' finds or 'garage-sale' purchases. They are not dusty and dirty. Each one has been hand-cleaned using my Nitty-Gritty or anti-stat cloth whichever was necessary at the time of play. I play about 6 hours of vinyl each day, either in my living room...the back porch/yard...or in my garage where I am now. I am aware that might sound unbelievable...or that I'm gloating...but it's actually easy to do if you love LPs like I do. It gives me a good reason to get up out of my office chair every 24-28 minutes, LOL.

I love vinyl. I am making these records available because I have about 5 copies of everything I am offering here and I think it's time to let some of them go.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE PURCHASING LOCALLY: Please let me know if you are interested in a modest turn-table, receiver, Speaker set up. I would be glad to advise and maybe even sell one to any interested buyer. If you are entry-level and don't need super-fidelity high-end gear I can get you up and running with a great little system for reasonable cost. I own tons of speakers, turntables and amps/receivers. The LP experience is unlike anything the digital realm can provide. Don't get me wrong, I also own about 4,000 CDs and they serve their purpose (road-trips, etc.)...but for an organic (unmatched frequency experience), playing records on a vintage system with a period-correct cartridge and stylus...there is nothing the digital world offers that comes close, IMNTBHO.
GUARANTEE: I will credit back (refund) at $7.50 each any and all records that skip. It is how certain I am of the condition of each and every one of these hand-picked records.

There are 100 individual jackets. Some of them are gate-fold (2 vinyl records) and a few are even (Tri-Gate - 3 vinyl records). I believe it comes out to about 120 pieces of LP vinyl (33&1/3rd RPMs). At $900...each vinyl record costs $7.50. Anyone shopping for vintage vinyl today knows that even Lawrence Welk and the Danish Polka Orchestra Philharmonic are selling for $4.99 each at Goodwill.

This is a great opportunity to own a very diverse collection of Rock and Roll history from the Beatles to the Eagles...from The Who to John Coltraine...From Kiss to The Jackson Five...from Traffic and Eric Clapton to Iron Butterfly and even some REM. The list goes on. Take the time to inspect the photos carefully. There are even a few factory sealed (never opened) LPs including Cheap Trick / Dream Police, Santana and ABBA (see photos).

For buyers who need each and every record graded on the eBay system, sorry, I don't have the time and I won't put myself or buyers through that experience.
