Description
1980s DJ Collection Vintage Vinyl
My good friend used to be a DJ in New York City during the early 1980s. He kept most of his collection and has asked me to sell them. They have been stored away for many years. During that time, the storage area was flooded and several of the albums got wet. It has only affected the album covers -- and you will know when I list those, because the damage to the covers is pretty obvious. I won't be listing those for while and I will also make a note in the description.
I am also planning to list almost all the albums in groups of four. I just don't have the time it takes to list each separately. And, I'll be packing them together and secured so that the albums don't slide past each other. I may also place a sheet of Saran Wrap between the albums as extra protection.
Regarding all of the album's condition -- he took super care of the records and most are in excellent condition - no scratches with only a few album smudges. These were his lively-hood at the time, so he was careful with them. Take a look at the photos. Happy to answer questions if I can. Afraid I don't know anything about grading albums, but they all look to be great condition.
There is only one record in this auction:
