Most albums we sell have been played through to check for skipping or scratches. Any that have not been played have been very carefully examined under good lighting conditions.

POSTAGE: We may use recorded post or special delivery services depending on the final selling price of an item but we do NOT pass on the cost to the buyer. All items are securely packed in purpose made album packs and a certificate of posting is always obtained.

*Record Collector magazine publishes a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. To be as honest in our evaluations as we can, we use a dual system whereby we appraise the vinyl album and the sleeve as two separate items. We also show a (+) or (-) to these gradings to allow more detailed condition reports.

 MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Payment We prefer to accept payment by Paypal although Postal Orders, Bankers Drafts and Cheques are also welcome and should be made payable to 'K BAILEY' and be in UK£ Sterling only.
In line with eBay & PayPal policy we do not accept Paypal for items collected in person. These must be paid for in cash at the time of collection.
We ask for all payments to be made within 5 days of the sale closing.

Following a spate of non-payments, we reserve the right to open an unpaid item dispute immediately eBay offer us the option. We are always happy to hold items for those unable to pay immediately for any justifiable reason, providing they contact us in the first instance.

Please be aware that following changes to eBay feedback criteria and the actions of a small number of buyers who may be acting dishonestly in regards to non-receipt claims, we now only leave reciprocal feedback for buyers once we are assured the item has safely arrived.

Shipping We always try to ship items within 24 hours of receiving payment or of the cheque clearing our account. We wrap all items carefully and use a number of shipping methods including Royal Mail*, Parcelforce UK and DHL to achieve prompt delivery at best value to our buyers.

We always obtain a proof of posting for every item sent.

Overseas buyers please be aware that we will always quote the postal charge for AIRMAIL services. If you wish to reduce your shipping costs we will send heavier items by surface post at your specific request. However we cannot give any guarantees about delivery times (Australia & New Zealand currently 13 weeks, USA and Canada up to 9 weeks) and tracking information cannot be provided.
