So I’m going full disclosure here, in other words I’m gonna tell a story…

So I preordered the new Anthology Boxset direct from Sacred bones, despite already having volume one I went for the Boxset as I wanted to super sexy case that holds the two records, I already owned the first pressing (clear red) at this time and my intention was to sell the new sealed second pressing of volume one. However, when my delivery arrived someone at the factory had neglected to include the volume one, it was like the universe was telling me something, I thought if I moaned enough they would just refund me part of the price paid and I’d just keep my volume one and add it to the Boxset and get the cash back and everything would work out, however I neglected to take into consideration the amazing customer service team at sacred bones and they said they would sent the missing vinyl out. No sweat I thought, it’s back to plan A of selling the new sealed vol 1 when it arrived but due to a confusion amongst the dispatch team it actually took them about two month to send it out. It arrived and has sat on my shelf for a few weeks and I just decided to sort it out and list it. Thats when it got interesting (and to be fair it’s still pretty much uninteresting) but I randomly thought “hmmm, for my own curiosity I’m gonna compare the sleeve to the red first pressing”, I did just that and that’s when I realised on my first pressing, the way the wording is cut so the sleeve is vacant for the text I realised the innards of the letter G on AntholoGy were missing, when in the same hell did this happen? To say I was gutted is an understatement, as you can see by the last photo I am a massive John Carpenter fan, not just the movies but the music so I have decided to keep the 2nd pressing and sell the red first. I even prefer the sleeve to the 7” single and the newer one is yellow. So yeah, here you are buying the red pressing of Anthology 1 with the black 7” included, ignore the last two photos, they are just me being proud of being a Carpenter nerd. The second photo shows the damage to the sleeve.
