Description

Ok-here's the deal. This record is tied to the TV show Fringe and I urge you to look it up on the internet to get the full story. The label says 1971 but this record was made circa 2009 as part of the TV show story line. It is a good psych record, actually. Now LISTEN! the record was deliberately distressed as part of the marketing facade. It has lots of scratches and scuffs. It actually plays through but with noise. The cover is near mint. Apparently they made a hundred and sent one to various record and music stores throughout the USA to get a buzz going. Anyway, it is what it is. The record is G and was made that way. You can listen to the music on the internet, too. Pretty cool stuff but clearly with a later production sound.
Postage: $4 per order in the USA. Canada is $8 for the first and $2 each additional. Outside North America is $15 for one and $4 each additional. Multiple record sets count as the number of records in them.
Grading- to old Goldmine standards. Traditional notations. RECORD is graded first. Mint- self explanatory  (swr) = shrink wrap Near mint- one or two slight blemishes seen only under a bright light- no impact on play. Spindle marks. Minor cover blemish, maybe a slight bent corner.  Excellent ( or VG++)- a few faint marks seen only under a bright light;no impact on play. Maybe writing on the label (wol). A couple of minor cover blemishes, maybe a drill hole (dh) or bb hole(bb), sticker on cover (soc) VG+- some hairline marks and light scuffs; little impact on play except light noise between tracks and quiet spots. Cover could have a seam split (ssp) , ring wear (rw), seam wear (sw), spine wear (spw), writing on cover (woc), split spine (spsp) VG: means very good, not vinyl garbage. Hairline marks, possibly scuffs and surface scratches. Some noise between tracks and in quiet spots. More cover issues.
Any scratch that can be felt with the finger nail and makes noise will be noted.
Grading is subjective. I grade it the way I see it so if you don't like what you get for any reason just send it back for a full refund, including the postage you paid to have it sent to you. Return postage is on the buyer. I don't play grade every bit of every record, only if I see a mark that may cause noise.  If I miss something, it is not a conspiracy to ruin your life. Act like an adult and just send it back without the nasty emails and "woe is me" attitude. I use regulation heavy mailers and remove the record from the sleeve. I have been buying, selling and trading ( yes, we used to trade records before Ebay) for 35 years and I want you to be happy with your purchase, just like I want to be treated fair when I buy records. I expect payment within 3 days of the auction close. Contact me before you bid if you can not meet this requirement. Priority mail is available at extra cost. Let me know if you want the expedited shipping.
