Released by Virgin in 1974; cat # VS.112; this is a one-sided promo only from “Hergest Ridge” by Mike Oldfield.
The A-side label has handwritten details in green pen – “A Cut Running 3 mins 2 secs From Hergest Ridge M Oldfield”.
The dead vinyl carries the matrix number – VS 112 A-1U.
This is a stunning copy – MINT! Not going to waffle; lets keep it simple! MINT says it all.
If that were not enough, this copy comes with a letter from Virgin to the DJ on headed paper. Considering how few of these promo were issued it is unlikely you’ll ever find a more original copy.

Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two or THREE records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.40 Europe and £3.40 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance will be required if the value of the order exceeds £34. If you refuse insurance and the record is damage or goes missing in the post, I’m afraid we cannot be held responsible and will not entertain any claims. UK record delivery is an extra 70p and special delivery is £4.75. Overseas insurance will be either £3.50 or £5.50 dependent upon the value.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
