djkor October 28, 2020 Amazing album, still super fresh, every track here is masterpiece. Reply Notify me Helpful teraphim July 31, 2020 the same synthesizer sound can be heard in
Robert Leiner ?– Out Of Control
and
North Central Positronics ?– Smell The Glove (1994)
both tracks apparently were released almost at the same time. Reply See 1 reply Notify me Helpful beatdigger October 16, 2019 Obviously there is much more to this album than Aqua Viva... but I will always remember Derrick May playing this track at the best club in history, Pure in Edinburgh, around 1993. Visions of the Past still sounds fresher than much of his peers’ releases from this time- but I have to admit I play Aqua Viva at -8 these days.... i don't know why people call this a trance record. it is not a trance record at all really. it's just techno
anyways it is a masterpiece Reply See 1 reply Notify me 1 Helpful whitemitsubishi October 4, 2017 For those looking for aqua viva, you will also find it here https://www.discogs.com/Source-Source-EP/release/31034 Reply Notify me 2 Helpful defendergroove September 17, 2017

Definitely the best ambient record ever made. The way Robert layered and mixed those different analogue sounds into beautiful melodies proves he's the best electronic music composer ever(not any sound sounds too loud or too low).
The opening sound of the track "Vision of the Past" is just amazing. I melt everytime I listen to it.
Try listening to this record with your headphones, you will not believe your ears. A masterpiece!
Robert, if you read this give us more of that. I'm waiting so long now for your next ambient album "Visions of the Future" or "Music for Average People".
