Description
This is the 1954 Vitadisc shellac pressing of Sir Galba and Lord Melody backed by the She She Calypso Band. Galba's Mr. Christine from Barbados plays quiet and clean on my turntable, as does Melody's Boy Days. The Vitadisc catalog number is TC 106.
I've collected records for 15 years, and this is the first time that I can honestly say that I don't know if another copy of something in my collection is for sale anywhere else in the world. Better to send this to a true Calypso collector than have it sit beside my 12" HMV Casals albums.
I won't grade records, so instead I've uploaded pictures. This is a clean disc with no visible defects. But please look closely. I've given you shots of each side from the left, right, and head-on.
