Description

An original 1st press of Viva! on the UK Island label. Matrix A1/B2. Etching "Blair". The vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated cover. Also included is an original black Island inner sleeve with the 'Peter's Square' address. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex) In great shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Interference is very limited in nature. I couldn't detect more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments, and a couple of minor clicks in track 2 momentarily. A great player for sure..
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and certainly benefiting from the full lamination. Lovely clean front and back with practically no signs of creasing. The interior is immaculate - no issues at all. Edge wear is mostly very light with only a small nick occurring on the top edge above the 'V' of Viva - about 5mm in length. The spine is pretty much entirely intact with all text legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex+) Pretty much faultless. No splits, rips, or ageing.
