Vivaldi 4 Seasons Marriner UK Argo ZRG 654

 

Alan Loveday with the Academy of St-Martin-in-the-Field directed by Neville Marriner performs the “Four Seasons” of Vivaldi in a recording that has long set the standard. An English pressing on Decca records, Argo Label (ZRG 654 stampers 1G/1G), the labels are green with silver lettering and large oval Argo logo. The record has some light surface scuffs, and it is of otherwise excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional low-level surface noise. The cover has rubbed with a ring and a few creases. Notes are included.
