Rare copy of Vivien Goldman "LAUNDERETTE"
7" single , Windows/Rough Trade Records
This is a rare copy of the 1981 45rpm 7" single LAUNDERETTE by Vivien Goldman (produced by Vivien Goldman, Keith Levene and John Lydon.) The B-Side is Private Armies, produced by Adrian Sherwood. Musicians include Robert Wyatt, Keith Levene, Vicky Aspinall, Steve Beresford, George 'Levi' Oban. The record (release number WIN 1 on the Windows label) was manufactured and distributed by Rough Trade in London. The paper picture sleeve is in excellent condition (see photo), just some very light ring marks visible in a certain light - where the record has pressed against the paper- and a little minor wear to some of the corners of the sleeve. There is also a light bend along about half of the front right edge of the cover. The vinyl is in excellent shape: there are just a few very light surface, superficial "scuff marks" visible under a bright light. It plays like nearly brand-new, without any skips - it is amazingly well preserved for its age!
