Description
This is a copy of the very rare VIXEN - Made in Hawaii 12" released in 1983 on US label AZRA RECORDS. This copy has been played very little, and the grading for sleeve / vinyl is: VG+ / M- . The sleeve has minor to moderate shelve wear, and I left the sleeve in the cheap plastic it originally came with. It can obviously be completely removed, but I thought if someone wants to keep the sticker with the description of the record on it, I better leave it with it. The sticker says the following:
VIXEN - MADE IN HAWAII
DTR64 EP 993702 MADE IN USA
5 track one-sided EP of fast-paced, punk-ish metal with female vocals like Dinah Cancer (45 Grave) meets Betsy (Bit*h). Musically appealing to Motorhead/Vice Squad fans. Featured on U.S. Metal 2. *note, the * replaces a "c"
You are bidding on an extremely rare one-sided 12" by VIXEN, an early 80's NWOBHM-style band from the island of Oahu, Hawaii . This classic peace of wax was released in 1983 on AZRA RECORDS, and is one of the true classics when it comes to early 80's obscure heavy metal with an edge to it. Note, this record is NOT some wimpy metal stuff, but great punkish metal that doesn't really exist anymore these days.
For fans of 70's and 80's punk and metal and bands such as: MOTORHEAD, GIRLSCHOOL, VICE SQUAD, 45 GRAVE, early IRON MAIDEN, PLASMATICS etc. etc.
