Description

This is a sealed copy of a live recording at Carnegie Hall of Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto, featuring the great Vladimir Horowitz and the New York Philharmonic conducted by Eugene Ormandy. I attended this concert on January 8, 1978, and Horowitz was amazing! I am including with this sealed, unplayed recording the program and two ticket stubs from that "Golden Jubilee Concert."
As a bonus, I am also including a vintage concert program, brochure, and ticket stub for another concert with Horowitz and the NY Phil, this time conducted by Zubin Mehta at Lincoln Center. The program was on September 24, 1978, and again included Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto, but this time the performance was broadcast live on NBC. The major networks don't do that anymore!
These collectibles would make a Horowitz fan very happy!
