Description

Vocalion #15492: Fess Williams' Royal Flush Orchestra plays two hot sides "Atlanta Black Bottom" and "High Fever". V+ condition record on "Atlanta" side with some blast in the louder passages near start, V+ approaching E- on "High Fever" side with superficial surface scuffing, light pin scratches, ticks and small pops. As expected from the titles and artist, both sides are played hot with jazz soloists and ensemble jam. Rated one of the rarest jazz records of the 1920's by 78 Quarterly back in the day. Electrically recorded.
