LAST CHANCE *   (*last of my stock of this record, unless I sell the one I am keeping for myself)   VOGUE PICTURE 2-RECORD SET V-102-2  

NEVER-BEFORE-PLAYED picture records out of the original factory carton, packed by VOGUE RECORDS over 60 years ago.

Vogue Picture Records were introduced in 1947 by a 28-year-old American industrial genius who innovated the development of the aluminum-core picture record. Due to material shortages, the production of these rare records lasted only a short time. They are truly a much sought-after collectible and the fact that this 2-record set comes literally from the factory carton makes it a true gem. The 2-record set comes in a die-cut box that has pull-out record holders. Also included is a set of wonderful “dance steps” so you can learn the rhumba. The set is numbered V-102-2, with Vogue Picture Records numbers R739 and R740. See the pictures below of the album cover (front and back) and both sides of each of the records. This set is somewhat more rare that the sister set V102-1, The illustrations are much nicer and the colors more vibrant.

Below are pictures of the records and die-cut album in this Vogue set. Because these albums have been sitting in warehouse for all these yours, the die-cut box that the records come in, has some minor flaws, water spots. These water spots are clearly visible in the photos below. The records themselves are in surprisingly good condition despite their age of over 60 years. There are some random minor surface scratches and some wear and tear, but still very displayable and highly collectable.
