WABC Radio- Bruce Springsteen, Born To Run- Original 1975 Studio 45 Promo. 
Remember hearing Harry Harrison, Ron Lundy, or Dan Ingram playing "Born To Run" on Musicradio back in the 70's? This just might have been the EXACT RECORD that was spinning on one of those big Gates turntables! Truly, an amazing piece of New York radio history. When will you ever see another one? The BackStory: In the early 80's, I obtained a boxful of WABC promos from Lee Fowler, then Program Director of KDKA Pittsburgh. He'd gotten them from a friend- none other than the legendary Rick Sklar, the "father" of the Top 40 format at WABC. Over the ensuing years, I've accumulated a number of original, station-branded promo 45's from key AM blowtorches,, including WCFL- Chicago, KHJ- Los Angeles, KDKA- Pittsburgh, and WSM Nashville. So do I sell them or keep them? I'm sort of on the fence at this point, so am "testing the waters" with this listing. Happy Bidding!
