PLEASE NOTE OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS I WILL BE LISTING NUMEROUS CLASSICAL RECORDS THAT CAME FROM A FROM A PUBLIC AND REFERENCE LIBRARY, THEY HAVE BEEN STORED FOR MANY YEARS UNPLAYED, HOWEVER IN MOST CASES THEY WILL HAVE VARIOUS INSTITUTIONAL MARKS HANDWRITTEN REFERENCE NUMBERS STAMPS ETC. THERE ARE NUMEROUS SCARCE COLUMBIA, DECCA AND HMV EXAMPLES. PLEASE BARE IN MIND THAT THESE HAVE COME FROM A LIBRARY SO THE CONDITION WILL NOT BE FANTASTIC, ALTHOUGH SOME EXAMPLES ARE QUITE PLEASING. THESE AUCTIONS WILL HOPEFULLY GIVE PEOPLE THE OPPURTUNITY TO OBTAIN VERY SCARCE CLASSICAL RECORDS AT AFFORDABLE COMPETATIVE PRICES. THERE ARE SOME EXCELLENT EXAMPLES AND I AM SURE SOME WILL EXCEDE YOUR OWN EXPECTATIONS. WITH THIS IN MIND, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEIR EX LIBRARY STATUS WHEN BIDDING AS THESE RECORDS WILL NOT REALLY BE FOR THE COLLECTOR LOOKING FOR IMMACULATE EXAMPLES.

Records-EX++ (Excellent Plus Plus)
The records have retained a decent glossy shine throughout all sides. There are some very mild hairlines and minor surface marks noticed in places, nothing that appears too heavy for the most part, with a tiny hairlines mark, right at the begining of one side that creates a series of 11 loud ticks. There are some light inner sleeve removal marks noticed in strong bright light. A very nice set of records. Reference numbers written in pen to the labels, less noticed compared to others due to the black and silver colouring.
I have listened to large extracts of the audio and the record played very well for the most part. There is some light underlying static surface noise noticed in places intermittently throughout, noticed mainly during quieter passages and less noticeable during busier passages. Some occasional pops and minor ticks in places. There is a small feelable hairlines mentioned above at the beginning of one side that creates approx 11 loud ticks. A solid EX/EX+ Excellent/Excellent Plus audio grading.
Due to these records being stored and largely unused for many years I would recommend a professional clean to enhance this example further.
Sleeve/Box EX (EXCELLENT)

A decent solid box, some minor surface marks, clean and well presented for the most part. The front panel is clean and well presented with only light wear. There is some edge and corner wear with some edge grazing and rubbing, there is a small corner split with some surface paper loss, the other corners on the lid have lightly split with one just holding. The base is much more solid with no splitting or tears. The back is clean with some minor surface rubbing. Internally clean and nicely preserved.
The libretto has a small reference number written in the top left corner. There is handling mark and wear throughout the libretto, with some staple straining creases and general handling wear throughout. Libretto VG+
