Wagner: Siegfried
rare German first press vinyl 5LP box set released in the very early 1960s on black/gold DECCA stereo label and catalognumber SXL 20061/65. The clothbound box, complete with libretto booklet and vinyl all AS NEW in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - perfect! Obviously mostly unplayed... Famous reference performance by Georg Solti conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorus feat. Birgit Nilsson, Wolfgang Windgassen, Hans Hotter, Joan Sutherland, Gustav Neidlinger, Marga Hoffgen, Kurt Bohme, Gerhard Stolze... recorded with true audiophile soundquality same as (or better?) the UK wideband Decca counterpart pressing ...see photo.
