Description
Here’s the very cool, 1973 U.S. first pressing die-cut Zippo Lighter cover for Island SW 9329. It’s not the prettiest specimen, but you may want this. The cover is paired with a disc from the 1975 U.S. pressing Island ILPS 9241, which was issued with a different (and conventional) cover. Now, before you go asking any questions... The disc belonging to the original cover is M.I.A. and the cover for the later disc is also missing. Hmm.
RECORD (VG): Surface marks and scuffs, hairline scratchesvsome audible. It had a lot of play and it still plays.
COVER (G): Surface/edge/corner wear significant in places, creases, corner dents, ring rub. The top of the lighter cover is no longer hinged to the bottom. See in pic 5 of the hinge area. The bottom half of the cover’s flame, flint wheel and fire cage are all intact. New inner sleeve.
