For sale here is a VERY rare LP. released in 1973 (especially in this condition) by THE WAILERS called "CATCH A FIRE " and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK STEREO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press ISLAND label. THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS EASILY ONE OF THE WAILERS RAREST LP'S EVER, AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (not in this condition!!)... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION!!...(have a look at my photo's) 1st Press ILPS 9241 A-3U / ILPS 9241 B-4U MATRIXES, AND 1st PRESS NON LAMINATED LTD EDITION RARE ZIPPO LIGHTER SLEEVE - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD in SUPERB!! condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. is ILPS 9241
Labels are the sensational island format in near mint condition!!.With the island logo below the spindle hole both labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has only 1 or 2 very minor spindle lines, to indicate that the record has possibly only ever had 1 or 2 very careful plays !! With NO damage of any kind.NO graffiti , NO rips, NO tears, and NO sticker marks whatsoever!!! and would therefore grade as near as mint condition!!!
Vinyl
Thickly pressed heavy weight vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees, There are NO surface marks,scratches or blemishes at all!!Only 1 or 2 very tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!.A stunning visual and impossible to locate in this condition!!!.Would therefore grade as excellent++ /as near as mint condition!!
Sleeve
First issue non laminated Ltd edition zippo sleeve is Showing minor signs of storage wear at the corners and edges.The sleeve has NO rips, NO tears, NO graffitti or stickers whatsoever!!!.The sleeve is in excellent+ condition!!! and a Fantastic collectors item. The wide Spine is perfectly straight and has the fully working hinge!! with a small amount of rubbing. This is a fine example of this sensational island classic.!!
