THE WAILERS - Mashi (Imperial, IR 66045)
"Mashi" is one of these irresisteable dancers that drags everybody (as in EVERYboday) to the dancefloor and makes them do things not even Jane Fonda knew how to do! An instrumental, but one the builds the organ lead so effectively that it sounds like garage / soul / surf / exotica all rolled into one. So if you ever need to get anybody (neighbours, potential mating partners, a club,...) moving, here's the best starting point you could find.
Has a good few surface lines, but plays fine and once the tune burns rubber you wont have time to listen for crackles anyway!
