Description:

  • This RARE and ORIGINAL UK PROMOTIONAL FOUR Track Vinyl EP was issued by APPLE Records in July 1969, featuring a promotion with the long established UK company WALLS ICE CREAM.

  • The Iveys would soon chance their name to BADFINGER

  • Never on sale in the stores, this EP could only be obtained by mail order by sending in a number of Wall's ice cream wrappers and a postal order for 6 shillings and 6 pence (32½ p after decimalisation)

  • The sleeve was Apple's FIRST 7 inch picture sleeve.

  • Storm in a Teacup was produced by Mal Evans, Something's Wrong was produced by Peter Asher, Little Yellow Pill was produced by George Harrison, and Pebble and The Man was produced by Paul McCartney and written by Donovan. All four credits appear on both record labels.

Condition:

  • The picture sleeve is graded VERY GOOD with some staining on the back (see picture below), but no other defects
  • The record looks clean and shiny and is graded VERY GOOD+ to EXCELLENT with clean labels. Some light surface noise is evident, but no other defects and NO skips, sticks or jumps on my system
