Description

WALT DICKERSON QUARTET – THIS IS WALT DICKERSON – NEW JAZZ 8254 – VG+/M- - MONO

Recorded at Van Gelder’s studio on March 7, 1961, this Prestige session featured Walt Dickerson on vibes, Austin Crowe on piano, Bob Lewis on bass and Andrew Cyrille on drums. SIDE A: TIME; ELIZABETH and THE CRY. SIDE B: DEATH AND TAXES; EVELYN and INVITE YOU. The initials “RVG” are stamped in the blank vinyl on both sides of the LP. This is a MONO recording

I have graded the vinyl as VG+ and the record jacket as M- for the following reasons. The vinyl has a surface mark, which doesn’t interfere with play. Otherwise, the vinyl is clean. There is some very slight surface noise, which brought it down to the VG+ grade. There are a few marks around the spindle hole on the label. The LP retains its original luster. The record jacket is in near mint condition with little to no sign of wear. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.8 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make PayPal the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $3.17 or by Priority Mail @ $5.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $21.60 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
