Description
An original pressing of the Sense of Direction album by vibraphonist Walt Dickerson on New Jazz (NJLP 8268).
The purple and silver label reads: "NEW JAZZ A product of Prestige Records Inc., 203 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J." "RVG" is machine-stamped in the trail off. The matrix reads: "NJLP-8268."
For a largely white cover, this is pretty clean with only slight discoloration and/or marks. The front has some light rubbing/scuffing/ shelf wear. There is a small "P 242" in blue pen near the top left corner, as well as a small discoloration (looks like a label was removed). The back cover looks good. The recording date (May 5, 1961) is underlined in blue pen. All four corners are slightly dinged and the top left has more wear than the others.
The vinyl is VG+ (7 out of 10, good looking record with some scuffs and a bit of dust). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
