This record is in excellent+ condition. It has light spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres are not loose and overall the labels are in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are beautifully clean with next to nothing visible in normal light. There are a few incredibly light wispy lines visible under very bright white light but of course nothing remotely serious. The record has no serious scuffs or blemishes and has a beautiful vivid shine. It is in great shape and has been well cared for.
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat but upon playing there is a noticeable 'bob' in the record arm on both sides and so it must have as slight storage warp. This is clearly noticeable in the record arm but is not major enough to cause playing problems and the audio produced is superb. It is very clear, crisp and easy to follow. It has only the slightest possible amount of interference or surface noise audible and there are no skips, sticks, annoying clicks or any serious issues. It was an audio experience of high quality and plays really well with very clear sound, especially considering its age. I played this for my nephew who is four and he was entranced like I have never seen before, other than when he is watching CBeebies!
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear/rubbing to the edges and corners(pics), but the writing along the spine is legible. Despite this mild wear all the edges are strong and there are no splits or weak areas, but there is a tiny 4mm hole on the top edge. Other than the edge wear there is some general age related grubbiness throughout, but not a horrific amount. There is also a couple of small scuffs on the back and some light creasing to the laminated front. Inside the gatefold has no major issues and the booklet is attached in the centre. This is clean, bright and free from tears, scuffs or pen marks. So overall the sleeve is in good shape and is strong with no major defects.
It contains its original plain white 'patent pending' poly-lined inner in excellent condition with no tears, scuffs or pen marks and only a little creasing and discolouring.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
