Beautiful original 1968 first pressing of the famed Switched-On Bach LP by Walter Carlos, later Wendy Carlos. Original grey 2-Eye Columbia label, the rarest and by far the best pressing. This record really became the cult classic it is now quite a bit later in the 70s and 80s, so those later pressings are much more common. And we all know that Columbia pressings became cheap and of a far-lesser quality after the 60s, so here is a rare high-quality copy from the 60s. If you haven't heard an original pressing you are in for a treat. Much more present and "three-dimensional", you might say. I find the difference to be quite dramatic. Anyhow this copy is in absolutely lovely condition, with maybe one or two very light sleeve scuffs, but plays flawlessly and beautifully. The cover has just a touch of light wear, mainly on the bottom edge, but is remarkably nice, with no seam splits and no ringwear. This is one of the nicest original copies I have seen in years. Hard to find one!
