WALTER ZWEIFEL - TRENNSCHEIBE 7" (SELF-RELEASED) EX/EX
Perhaps the rarest ever Swiss collectible in the filed of cold wave/electro-pop/minimal synth, this single (also listed under the name Trennscheibe elsewhere) virtually never shows up for sale. Even more, copies like this one that actually have the proper poster cover are almost unicorns they’re so impossible to find. A copy without a cover sold for $200+ a few years back (check Popsike under just Trennscheibe), to give you an idea. Some more quirks: it's listed on Discogs as being by Walter Zweifel but the cover has him as Watti Zweifel. So too, I'm pretty sure Discogs has the date wrong on this one as my understanding is that these are early 80's recordings. Either way, if you're scoping this out, you likely already know the deal on this single and its desirability.
This copy not only has the poster cover but both the cover and vinyl are both in near mint condition! I’m calling both EX because of my previous aversion to calling older records M-, no matter how perfect they look/sound but this is as nice of a copy as exists. This also plays at 33 rpm and is EP length.
