Description

Beautiful copy of the original 1959 first pressing of the classic recording of Walton’s Facade and Lecocq’s Mamzelle Angot, conducted by Anatole Fistoulari on RCA Living Stereo LSC-2285. 1S/1S stamps. Miracle Surface hype sticker on front cover. One of the incredible recordings included on the TAS list, and this copy really shows why. The disc is beautiful and plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. There are a couple of light scuffs but they don’t affect the play. I hear maybe two or three stray very light ticks but barely anything at all. Plays just gorgeously. The cover has a seam split just over halfway across the bottom, and a short 1.5” one at the top. A little fraying on the spine as well and a bumped upper left corner. Also some light writing on the back. Still it is a very nice cover with beautifully unblemished artwork. This is a truly lovely sounding original copy.
