TITLE/ARTIST: This super rare and highly collectible LP by the great Wanda Jackson on the original Capitol Label -- with the Capitol logo on the left side -- and is self-entitled "Wanda Jackson" -- her very 1st LP release from 1962. The nicely conditioned LP features 12 classic Wanda Jackson songs -- icluding her smash hit, "Let's Have A Party" -- and even comes in an original Capitol Records company inner sleeve. This is just one of many LPs I intend to list in the coming weeks and months ahead -- all of which are in very nice shape. In my opinion, the condition of both this jacket and the vinyl --but, particularly the vinyl -- are very nice, espiecally considering how hard it is to find this rare LP. Everything is pictured below so please check them out, then read about the LP's overall condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, rainbow bordered, Capitol Label --with the Capitol logo on the left side as was the case with all 1st pressings of this LP -- T-1041 and in original mono. I don't even see that many spindle lines around the center circle, which would indicate to me that there's been very little actual play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean and nice with no real serious flaws either---except perhaps some very, very light surface/paper lines in several small places, but nothing really serious, believe me. I play tested the LP and it sounds really good. JACKET INFO: Likewise, this jacket, with the original Capitol Records inner sleeve, is also in very nice overall condition, although not perfect by any means. There are several small scuffs along the seam areas and a few "smudge or dirt-like" marks on the backside only. To me, none of these flaws are all that serious in the whole scheme of things, but please view all the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You really don't see this particular LP out there much anymore and espiecally not in this kind of better than average condition, so please have at it--as well as others I have posted this week -- or will be soon posting. I will continue to list many other LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists, even some rare C&W as I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all varieties to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
