Description
Original WARSAW (JOY DIVISION): THE IDEAL BEGINNING. Track listing: Side One: Inside the Line; Side Two: Gutz & At a Later Date. PSS 138 - 45rpm 7" single first pressing with matrix PSS-138-A + 'FRANCIS' & PSS-138-B1 on black VINYL with matte black ENIGMA labels. Released 18th May 1981 - limited to 2000 copies? Heavy card four panel fold-out sleeve in VG+ condition and with just very slight corner bumps (upper and lower right hand) and some slight age yellowing and darkening/discolouration along sleeve folds - see pictures. This is consistent with being an original copy of this RARE single. Original waxed paper record sleeve in excellent condition. Vinyl side one in NM- condition with great lustre and no surface scratches, vinyl side two in VG++ (EX) condition, with just some very feint hairline scratches and a slight blemish to the record edge on Side Two: Track 1 (Gutz) - see pictures. This blemish is surface only and is not audible. Both labels in NM condition with NO spindle marks and NO spindle wear. Although this release does not have a serrated shoulder to the inner runout area, a very feint serration is just visible on Side Two on this vinyl pressing (similar to An Ideal for Living 7"). Play tested with very little background noise - great audio for an 'unofficial' release. Overall in excellent condition and VERY COLLECTIBLE - a very nice clean copy esp. considering the age and which has been ket in a pvc record sleeve. Will be sent in a purpose made cardboard record mailer with additional stiffeners by Royal Mail first class recorded post to UK postcode addresses. Signed for and insured. Vinyl will be removed (unpacked) from the sleeve for shipping. Will post to the USA by Royal Mail tracked and signed service for a cost of £8.80 (assumes weight not exceeding 100g) - NOTE you will have to pay the import duty as this is not included.
