WARZONE
"Lower East Side Crew" 7"
(Revelation Rds #1, 1987)
Record//Sleeve : EX // EX
Well, technically not revelation numero uno (this honor belongs to Judge "chung king" 12") but this is the record that really started it all. When Jordan Cooper and Ray Cappo of Youth Of Today joined forces to create what would be the most infamous sxe label ever, their first releases started a legend that is still booming strong nowadays. SOIA, Bold or Gorilla Biscuits, you name it, they released it. Along nyhc heroes Agnostic Front and the Cro-Mags or Murphys Law, Warzone were the missing link between the skinhead crowd and the hardcore/punk kids. Their first record, the "lower east side crew" ep isn't easy to come by although it's been repressed a bunch of times but here you have the very elusive orange press. Only 500 made and often found in bad shape, this one is a keeper. A true gem essential to any straight-edge/kbd collector. You won't regret getting it. No Reserve!
The record is in excellent shape, plays fine without any problem. No trace or anything. The sleeve is in fine state too, no problem, same with the giant, fold-out insert which is two-sided (lyrics on the other side). I'm a conservative grader so you won't have any surprise. I'll make sure to pack the record safely, the way I'd like to receive it. You can ask me any question directly by clicking here. Good luck!
Record//Sleeve: EX // EX
GRADING : As we all know, grading is something very subjective. I grade conservatively to prevent any problem. All records are listened to and graded accordingly. Everything is stated. So here’s my own grading system. NM : means the record is still sealed or untouched. EX : the record/sleeve are like new. EX- would refer to a small problem (a barely noticeable tear/writing for example). VG++ : your usual used record, ringwear, sticker removal or very slight yellowing, some surface noise but nothing that affects play. VG means that the sleeve has tears and possibly other issues, record has loud pops and/or shows surface noise. G : Sleeve is in a bad shape, record doesn’t play well.
