HILL CLIMBING FOR BEGINNERS

1973 uk Myrrh MYR 1004 (1G-1G). EX. Here is one of the few uk Xian acid-psych-folk albums from the early 1970's that has kept its price and remained collectable amongst lovers of rare folk-rock albums. This album is now considered to be a bit of a masterpiece, the music is a brilliant mix of acid-folk-rock with some nice progressive rock leanings, 'Hill Climbing For Beginners' is musically every bit as good as any of the major label acid-folk-rock rarities of the time. This issue on offer here is the rarer much more desirable first issue with the brown cover.
CONDITION = EX
The thick vinyl has a very nice original clean deep glossy sheen with only a couple of light surface marks/hairlines. Both sides play and sound really great with just the odd tic and just tiny amounts of very minor light background hiss/crackle, the audio is still excellent and clear with no lessoning in the sound quality. Both labels are in excellent clean condition with just a few light spindle traces per side. The single card sleeve is in very good condition, the front and back are great with just some light signs of age/wear/creasing. The edges and spine have some small amounts of shelf wear, the top edge has a small seem split at it's center. Still a very nice copy though and so rare and hard to find as the original first press with the brown cover. All pictures are of the actual item for sale. Please check out my other items!
