Description

THE WATTS PROPHETS-RAPPIN BLACK IN A WHITE WORLD
ALA RECORDS
1971
1ST US PRESS

Great album that’s been reissued.Original copies are rare as hell and almost never turn up
This should appeal to fans of proto militant political Rap like The  Last Poets&Gil Scott Heron.
This album has a great feel to it.A great mix of Poetry&percussion.
Check out the titles on the label photo to get more of an idea of where this records coming from.
Pretty fierce stuff for 1971,you can definitely hear the influence this had on groups like Public Enemy.
Oh yeah-you might recognize a few samples...

Vinyl is VG++
-has a few light paper scuffs
-plays great!

Cover is VG++
-No splits
-very minor corner wear
-previous wrote their initials really small on the back cover
