WAYNE FAUST
The Night's a Song
Wolf records (private label)
3567069 Autographed on back: "To Lorraine. Wayne Faust" Incredibly rare.
Wayne Faust (born c. 1955)--singer, song-writer, guitarist, and banjo player--is originally from the Chicago area but moved to Colorado and has performed there since. His Website describes his style: “He brings his quick wit and easygoing style to the stage, and delights audiences with his original novelty songs and hand-clappin’ banjo numbers.” Songs on this LP (his first recording?) are a bit more serious than his more current songs: “The Night’s a Song,” “Pretty Song for a Pretty Lady,” “Remembering,” “Momma Have Fun,” “The Bells Rang,” “Blanket in the Winter,” “Only You Can Know,” “Ballad of Al Capone,” “In Our Eyes,” and “Kings and Thieves.” Sheet of lyrics included..
Vinyl: NM-. (Visually Graded)
Cover: VG++. Signature on back. Couple stains on the back upper right. (Click on photos to enlarge).
