Very hard to find Canadian Soul Funk LP by Wayne McGhie & The Sounds Of Joy.
This is the original 1st pressing of this obscure disc on the Birchmount label from Toronto.

Story is that shortly after the LP was released, there was a fire in the warehouse & most copies were destroyed.
This copy has a stamp on the back of the jacket that states "DJ SAMPLE".

Wayne was born in Jamaica & came to Toronto in the 60's.
He has a wonderful track on Coxsone Dodd's various artists LP Solid Gold titled How Does It Feel.
You can find that track on Youtube along with many tracks from this LP.

Rumors are that Jackie Mittoo is on this LP but there is no credit for him.
There is a credit for Alton Ellis & his photo is on the front of the Jacket. That's Alton in the middle.
Many musicians that were involved with Summer Records in Toronto are also credited on the sleeve.

There is writing on both labels.

The jacket shows it's age with shelf-wear & stains.
No serious creases or ring-wear.
Some small writing on the back.

Vinyl plays  VG+  condition.
