Confirmed, next level item and missing link in the We The People discography. Desirable, crossover soul with a near mythical status. Downtempo rare groove with seductive vocals and fabulous instrumentation (think mellow vibes a la Roy Ayers / congas / stoned synth / strings / sax etc). Production by Landy McNeal and arrangement by Jay Dryer. Maybe some subtle nuances to each mix so for us, not the exact same tune, note for note. Doubt this one actually got a standard release as you never see this record being offered for sale. Here is our promotional copy with "Who Babe" short version (mono) and long version (stereo). Our mp3 soundclip starts with the mono mix followed by the stereo mix (with extra female vocals). This item comes from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan, hence the archive numbers and any related notations
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
RECORD - flat edged styrene is shiny, strong VG++ (closer to M-) regardless of a cosmetic-only, faint grit line from storage to short version side / otherwise, just a few mini scuffs cum hairlines (mostly to outer edge deadwax area) / some natural background noises to be expected for such a pressing
SLEEVE - not graded - original Polydor USA company sleeve has general wear / item from the archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan, hence the archive stickers / pen notations front and back
LABEL - archive number in pen to one side / some natural age discoloration / a few faint dirt marks from storage
After a 2 year gap, Pourquoi Moi Vintage is back :)
