Description
This is a fine copy of a 1983 comp on the French Eva label of singles and EP tracks by stellar Florida garage group We the People. From Orlando, the group released seven singles between 1965-68, the last three of which appeared on RCA Victor. Two four-song EPs also came out in France, the latter of which featured two tracks not released in the U.S. (One of those is the title track of this collection; the band photos on the picture sleeves of the two EPs are reproduced on the front and back covers of the LP jacket.) Highlights of the comp include "Mirror of Your Mind" and "In the Past," which was covered by the Chocolate Watch Band. This was the first comp of the group's singles to be released. The jacket has some creasing/tearing in one corner and along the top seam, and is otherwise close to pristine (EX). The disc is clean with some fingerprints and light scuffing, and plays with occasional light surface noise (not counting noise from the source discs) (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
