Description

WEBER - DIE FREISCHUTZ

The first side has the Interlude to the 3rd act with Wilhelm Furtwängler conducting the Berlin Philharmonic. The remainder is performed by soloists, chorus & orchestra of the Berlin State Opera under Robert Heger. Performers include August Seider, Willy Domgraf-Fassbaender, Josef Greindl, Georg Hann, Maria Müller, Carla Spletter and Felix Fleischer. Rare DGG 78rpm set DGS 6, 8 discs, made in Germany, tulip labels. The embossed outer sleeve is in amazing condition with almost no wear.
