Cover:
Excellent, slight age-related wear on the corners and cover opening, slight tear on the bottom right of the back cover,
and loosening of lamina on the top right of front cover.

and has no surface marks or scratches.
The cover and extra items might show signs of slight wear or creasing.
Very good (VG): The record has been played many times, but displays no major
deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the
occasional light scratch.
The cover or extra items show normal wear and tear, without any major defects, is acceptable.
I will not list records with the gradings: Good, Fair, Poor or Bad
as I consider these of no use to anybody
