WEIDORJE 's/t' LP (France, Replica Records, Catalogue #RPC010) Brand new/unplayed copy of limited Replica Records label LP edition of 1978 heavy and intense Zeuhl-fuelled Progressive Jazz Rock LP by French band Weidorje (featuring ex-members of Magma.)

'A vinyl reissue of a hard to find album from 1978. Weidorje  (celestial wheel), was formed in 1977 by two ex-MAGMA members, Bernard Paganotti and Patrick Gauthier (also keyboardist for HELDON, a group that featured Richard Pinhas) One of Zheul's children, probably the most faithful and the closest musically and spiritually to MAGMA. A sizzling masterpiece created by what was a veritable super group of top jazz and rock musicians. Savage stuff with an anguished vibe, a strong rhythm section, ultra vitriolic guitar leads, dissonent sax breaks, and dark incantations." •Official reissue •Gatefold with liner notes. •180g black vinyl.'

'This group was formed in 1976 by ex-Magma members Bernard Paganotti and Patrick Gauthier. Kirt Rust had previously played on the first album by the Lockwood Brothers. The resulting album is hugely impressive, containing only three long "zeuhl" rock instrumentals. Paganotti's "Elohim's Voyage" was a showcase for brooding fuzz-bass and hypnotic rhythms, with wordless vocals, keyboards, sax and trumpet creating the melodies, often in unison.
