This is a promo item, an LP cover, that a record store would put on their counter or place on a wall. It’s actually meant to promote a classical record, “Opera without Tears” and the geniuses at Capitol decided to re-purpose Beatles 2nd Album sleeves that they had in abundance as the cardboard flat. You’ll see how they’ve perforated the cover photo of the lads to serve as the method of standing the flat upright. Genius!
