Description
this is a real first pressing of Riverside 12-320 by Wes Montgomery with small blue label and deep groove. Very rare particularly in this condition. I had to look real hard under a bright light to find few small faint scratches so visual grade is vg++. Plays vg++ with a few faint tinks and very light static in a few quiet spots typical of Riverside pressings of this era. Cover is vg++ with flaking on top edge and a little corner wear. top seam has split near opening a couple inches long/ has some edge wear also. Please see pics. Lineup of Tommy Flanagan, Percy Heath and Albert Heath on drums along with four Wes original compositions played brilliantly made this one of the greatest jazz records ever Don't pass up an opportunity to own a true first pressing! thanks and check my other auctions for Clean vintage jazz lps.
