Description
This is the original American MONO pressing of this live album from 1962 on the Riverside label. The matrix numbers are RLP-434A-1 and RLP-434B. The disc comes in its original heavy-duty cardboard sleeve and has a plain paper inner (not original).
The LP will be supplied in a protective 50g PVC wallet and posted in a commercial Defenda LP mailer made of corrugated cardboard.
Condition of Disc I have played the disc in its entirety and it generally plays really well. In particular, the unaccompanied track, 'I've grown accustomed to her face' plays beautifully. In other places, there is some very faint non-intrusive crackle, but no intrusive clicks. Visually, the surfaces have numerous light scratches and scuffs, so it looks worse than it plays. The disc would probably benefit from professional machine-cleaning. I have conservatively graded it as VG (Record Collector grading system).
Condition of Sleeve The sleeve has clear shelf/handling wear and the bottom edge has a 7cm split from the opening. The unlaminated rear is a little grubby and there is a small ink-stamp bottom left (approx 2cm x 2cm) possibly from the original retailer. All text is clearly readable. Graded 'Good'.
