Kim WESTON/THE MIRACLES/JJ BARNES/THE TEMPTATIONS

From Detroit With Love (7")

Soul

Side 1 - Track 1. Kim Weston - Fancy Meeting You Side 1 - Track 2. The Miracles - Show Me You Can Dance Side 2 - Track 1. JJ Barnes - I´m Here Now That You Need Me Side 2 - Track 2. The Temptations - I´d Rather Forget

Soul 4 Real continue to unearth many of the reams of finished Motown recordings that, for some obscure reason or another, failed to make the classic soul label's final cut. With privileged access to Motown's master tape shelves, they here home in on yet four more classic Detroit soul numbers by Kim Weston, The Miracles, JJ Barnes and The Temptations. All slow-swinging croons yet also heady hardballs, we can confirm that these cuts did not deserve their original discarding; Soul 4 Real see through a thorough corrective justice, recognising each of these lost-historic one-offs for the individual gems that they are.
