Description
For sale here is WHALEFEATHERS-WHALEFEATHERS, original UK PRESSING on the BLUE HORIZON label. Released in1971, BLUE HORIZON SELECT 2431 009
COVER.....NON-GATEFOLD, and UN-LAMINATED. RARE in ANY condition. This sleeve is in FANTASTIC condition and shows only the very lightest of general wear, but there is NO STICKERS, NO WRITING, NO SEEM SPLITS, NO SURFACE TEARS and NO TAPE or RESIDUE. The spine is in great shape and all information is legible. The edges are as new. The opening edges are crisp and straight as new. The front sleeve is in lovely condition with a clean matt finnish and very nice bright unfaded colour, EX+. The back sleeve is also in great shape with just one small stain near the top centre.EX. Over all this 35 year old sleeve is in wonderful condition for it's age. EX+
LABELS..... There are very few spindle marks, NO writing, NO stickers or tears.beautifully white NM/NM
VINYL....... The vinyl still has a deep black shine. I have just played this album all the way through on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK, and the sound is un-worn and full with great seperation and sound stage. Side A plays without any scratches, sticking or popping and looks great with the minimal of light hairlines only seen in the brightest of lights, wonderful. Side B has 2 marks of which only 1 can be heard as a very light tick sound at the quiet beginning part of track 3 before the vocals begin. This is a great and very rare album that seems never to turn up. EX++/EX-
