Fabulous British 1st issue of the film musical soundtrack to ‘White Christmas’ (1954, dir. Michael Curtiz), featuring songs and music composed by Irving Berlin and vocals performed by Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Peggy Lee, The Skylarks and Trudy Stevens. With Joseph J. Lilley and his Orchestra and Chorus.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
VINYL: VG. Looks unsoiled on visual inspection. Some mild surface scuffs, hairlines and marks on each side but nothing major – and no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Mild static and surface noise at run-in to side 1; more on side 2. Some surface noise between cues. Light clicking in left channel during first seconds of track 1, side 1 but vocals and jazz instrumentals sound great. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: VG. Colours clear and unfaded on superb laminated front. Curved creases, and creasing in from sides. Edges unworn, spine in great shape bar a tiny defect. Corners have mild scuffs and aperture lightly dogeared with one 2cm rip. Back of sleeve has a few mild stains and faint yellowing along flipbacks. Spine flipover attached with some creases. Overall a nice example of this seasonal first release.
INNER SLEEVE: VG. Original off-white poly-lined sleeve with square corners and centre hole. A few creases and folds and one tiny rip but clean and intact.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
