All records are cleaned, tested and play graded (see on the top).
I believe that very good cleaning of shellac record would improve the sound quality.

MY GRADING SYSTEM is visual & audio :
N= new/ M = like new/ NM = almost like new/ EX++/ EX+/ EX-/ VG+/ VG/G (explanation below)
VISUAL:
N= New sealed, unopened
M= Mint, opened but like new with no signs of use
NM= Near mint, almost new with 2-3 hair lines possible
EX+= Excellent plus, very clean & shiny with little evidence of play or sleeve removal
EX= Excellent, some light scuffs/hair lines, light marks of sleeve removal, no scratches (hair lines are not scratches !!)
EX-= Excellent minus, lot of hair lines (hair lines are not scratches!!)
VG+= Very good plus, one up to couple of superficial scratches & scuffs (general light wear for Shellac)
VG= Very good, pronounced wear, lack of gloss, numerous scratches,marks & scuffs
G= Good, pronounced wear but possibly still playable
AUDIO:
M= like new, perfect sound
NM= almost perfect sound, few light pops possible
EX+= very occasional light mild surface noise in background
EX= light mild surface/static noise in background through
VG+= light crackles through
VG= medium surface noise/crackles, but no skips, no jumps
G= high crackles but not overpowered music, no skips, no jumps.
